Some information provided by community members regarding compilation on Mac OS is provided in issue Bitcoin Core has some minimal changes to get it compiling on Windows. You can see these changes applied to a fork of bitcoin-sv. It compiles and runs, but there are unit test failures as it’s just a proof of concept.

The commits are minimal and can easily be vetted by browsing the changes. Dear developers, please tell me when will the Bitcoin Core wallet for Bitcoin SV appear on the Windows operating system? I second this request. Can we have an update on what the status for installing the Bitcoin SV client on Windows is?

The idea is to have the SV core daemon to be Windows binary compatible, not using some ordinary wallet tools. Linux binaries are put through a whole series of QA testing procedures.

We will not be repeating these for MacOS or Windows so we won’t be releasing binaries for these platforms. Compilation on MacOS and on Windows is supported and we will include fixes to ensure that it compiles, however this also is not included in our testing processes.
